Non-Ablative Laser Treatments
Sciton’s Laser Hair Removal (BBL™) sets the new standard for hair reduction by safely eliminating unwanted hair, alleviating the need to shave or wax! This non-invasive treatment uses laser and light energy to target the melanin in the hair follicle. This causes enough heat to damage the follicle without harming the surrounding skin. Typically 6-9 treatments are needed at 6-8 week intervals, however the number of treatments needed will depend upon the individual. After a series of treatments, most hair is permanently reduced. If however hair does regrow, it will be finer and lighter. Some clients may require maintenance treatments for residual hair growth. BBL can be used to treat all skin types and is effective on all body parts. Clients describe laser hair removal to feel like a light snap of a rubber band on the skin as the pulses of energy are delivered. Some redness and slight swelling can occur; it usually subsides within a few hours.
Forever Young BBL Photofacial™ uses intensive pulsed light (IPL) that gently heat the upper layers of the skin. As light energy is absorbed, it stimulates skin cells to generate new collagen. This helps to restore the skin to a youthful state, safely, with virtually no downtime. Pigmentation issues associated with the skin, such as facial redness, sun/age spots, small facial vessels and hyperpigmentation will gradually fade away after 2-5 treatments. Popular treatment areas include the face, neck, décolletage, arms and hands. Similar to laser hair removal, most clients describe a photofacial to feel like a light snap of a rubber band. Some redness and slight swelling may occur. After treatment, your skin will feel smoother, fine wrinkles and pores will be less noticeable and uneven skin tones will improve significantly creating a youthful appearance.
Acne Therapy Broadband Light (BBL™) has been proven helpful for active acne, lesions and pigmented acne scars. The shorter wavelengths of BBL™, in the blue-light spectrum, works by killing acne-causing bacteria and is also used to treat inflammatory acne that has not responded to other acne treatments. The number of treatments may vary depending upon the acne type and severity. Acne BBL is non-invasive with minimal discomfort. After treatment, some clients experience temporary redness and slight swelling.
